Tromsø Region
Compared to many mountain regions, the Tromsø area offers an exceptionally high number of touring opportunities within a relatively compact area. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert freerider, the terrain here fits to all levels.
Most ski touring enthusiasts are familiar with well-known areas like Lyngen and Senja — both legendary in the province of Troms. But Troms has more to offer. Lesser-known gems such as Kvaløya, Ringvassøya, Malangen, and Lakselvbukt deliver equally spectacular routes, with untouched snow and stunning Arctic views — often without the crowds.
